P&O Cruises has announced an updated flexible booking policy after a review of its temporary Covid-19 strategies.

Sales Manager Ruth Venn said: “We recognize that customers appreciate the peace of mind knowing they can transfer their bookings if they need to.

“We are therefore delighted to continue to offer a flexible transfer policy, where customers can transfer their reservation to another reservation of equal or greater value free of charge, as long as this change is made before the balance due date of the reservation. existing.

“We believe the new ‘one time change’ policy will help reduce call volumes for agents and provide an easier and more efficient way to handle customer inquiries.”

Customers who make a new reservation at a selected price from August 3, 2022 will be able to:

  • Transfer their booking once
  • Transfer their reservation for free
  • Transfer their booking to a holiday of equal or greater value
  • Transfer their booking up to the date their holiday balance is due (90 days prior to departure of their existing booking)
  • Transfer their booking to a vacation cruise within 12 months of the original departure date (or six months for a world cruise, classic southern hemisphere voyage, grand tour or exotic cruise).

For bookings made before August 3, 2022, if customers wish to reschedule their holiday, they can make another booking transfer up to the date their holiday balance is due.

The new booking must be of equal or greater value and must sail within 12 months of the original departure date, or within six months if transferring from an extended voyage.
